Emma Warren is a portfolio entrepreneur, running and advising multiple six and seven figure companies.
Emma has worked in corporate companies and smaller entrepreneurial ones, across most departments in the companies.
Special powers: Emma helps ambitious entrepreneurs see a clear path for their businesses that they can’t see and keeps them focused on delivering it, profitably, whilst not forgetting to live their lives.
I run my work through Portfolio Directors Ltd — a consultancy I founded to hold the various threads of my business and mentoring work. It allows me to work across my portfolio, from one-to-one strategy sessions to hosting retreats.
Dimpsey Glamping is a luxury retreat business, with three Blackdown shepherd huts, each sitting in their own field on Emma’s private 30 acre farm on the Blackdown Hills in Somerset.
Emma always refers to Dimpsey as her soul business – a project where she poured her extensive knowledge of business positioning and customer experience to create something magical – and the Dimpsey guest reviews absolutely show that this has been achieved.
Emma hosts her Sanctum Retreats at Dimpsey, enabling guests to experience Dimpsey luxury and the chance to pause before they build their next level lives.
Emma is the driving force behind Countrywoman’s Guide, an online publication celebrating authentic rural life, entrepreneurial journeys, and community spirit.
Launched mid‑2023, CWG brings forward stories that resonate with countryside sensibilities – through features, episodes, and “on tour” posts – under Emma’s editorial direction and strategic leadership.
Hiho Silver is a silver jewellery business, rooted in equestrian and country-inspired jewellery crafted with sterling silver, gold, and cubic zirconia accents.
From designing best-selling collections like the Cherry Roller to engaging with customers across rural shows, Hiho Silver is well known for their excellent customer service, designs that are both durable and beautiful and being the leading jewellery business within their country sector.
Emma joined the company as a non-executive Director in 2007 and ended up purchasing the business in 2011.
The Hiho team is a small team of people who excel at doing their jobs and running the team on a day-to-day basis.
Blackdown Shepherd Huts is a Somerset-based business crafting luxury shepherd’s huts for retreat, workspace, or wellbeing.
With its artisan roots – built in a garage and now operating from a 6,000 sq ft workshop- Blackdown brings pastoral comfort and craftsmanship into modern living.
Blackdown was established in 2011, and Emma’s guidance has played a big part in enabling them to become one of the market leaders. Storytelling and luxury are at the forefront of all they do.
Emma supports the team in growth, guiding operations, and seeking opportunities for brand expansion.

Emma co-founded UK Precision with her husband, Andrew, bringing together their purchases of Qualtech Engineering in 2005 and Yalesystems in 2007.
Despite operating through challenging economic conditions, together with their team, they grew the company into a respected supplier known for technical accuracy, reliability, and responsive service.
In 2022, after more than 17 years of ownership, Emma and Andrew successfully completed a profitable exit, selling to a growing engineering group – Leviathan Engineering.
The deal rewarded years of resilience and strategic investment, gave the business new growth opportunities under the new ownership, and gave Emma the freedom to expand her portfolio of ventures.
The experience reinforced her belief in building businesses with transferable value, and it continues to shape her approach as an investor and advisor today.
Emma Warren is more than a mentor – she’s an active entrepreneur, a strategic investor, a successful founder, and a thoughtful advisor.
